Surely, human species is not perfect, but the human brain is probably the most advanced biological organ in this part of the Milky way galaxy. During the existence of Earth we had billions of various species, but only one developed intelligence, a human race. We should appreciate that and should focus on improving ourselves.

Little natural selection as everything these days is economically driven, survival rate has greatly improved and humans hardly ever go through winnowing (coupled with other basic factors that have disastrous long term effects). So while you can safely extract sperm and inject it on an extracted egg, you still require a woman, donor or not, to gestate the egg and give birth to a baby. So, if you want to be reductive about it you only need sperm and a woman, because you can't make a bay with egg and a man.

PS: There are Egg banks, same as Sperm banks, case one of the sexes dies. But we still haven't been able to produce a baby in vitro ( as in, without a surrogate mother ).

This is not garbage, this is a fact. Throughtout Earths history we had billions of species but only one developed high intelligence, a human race. You are saying that avarage IQ is getting lower, but at the same time technical development becomes faster and faster. I doubt that avarage feudal peasant from middle ages was more intelligent than some avarage citizen from our times.

I think that human race has two options: development or self-destruct, but the latter can only happen due to nuclear war, which seems highly unlikely for me.
