will there be robots in naruto?

I doubt the robots in Naruto will be canon (besides Ashura's path). Imagine a world where humans have not yet invented automobiles and other basic technologies, but have managed to create a fully combat functional robot.

They don't have any factories in NV do they? I'm pretty sure they import stuff like TVs and computers (yes they had computers in Part I, in the hospital, though Kishi mentioned they are "8 bit"). And chakra-powered mechas don't seem like a big stretch (there was at least one in a filler), but of course no actual robots.
