Will there be a fan revolt if Naruto dies?

I think that given the way the manga has been growing increasingly dark, there is a chance that Sasuke will kill Naruto in the end and become Hokage. Count me as the first poster to go on record as saying that Sasuke's "change of heart" is an elaborate act meant to deceive Hashirama and Orochimaru. When the time is right he will strike and betray Hashi, killing him and Tobirama and join forces with Madara, after making Orochimaru and Hiruzen his mindslaves with genjutsu.

YellowFang... regarding your image. Obito is still talking without a heart in his body. Sorry to say that Kakashi is in over his head against Obito at this point. With Rinnegan and wood style, Obito is untouchable and possibly immortal altogether. Let's also not forget, that Obito just got finished owning Neji and most of the alliance on his own while Madara sipped his imaginary coffee.

Oro will try to betray, but Sasuke obviously sees it coming. Orochimaru has proven time and time again he is weak as hell against genjutsu, as have Naruto and Kakashi. If Kakashi is in Obito's genjutsu, it's already over. Kakashi will die.

I won't post the names of manga that are famous where the main character died... as to not provide spoilers. Let's just imagine this, my fellow NBers:

Naruto is a Japanese manga. It is written for a Japanese audience. Westerners balk at the idea of the main character dying. The Japanese author doesn't care what Americans think of his manga. Afterall it's HIS story, why would Kishimoto-sensei care what we think of it?

In the end, Naruto could die and Sasuke could become the new Hokage as Itachi wished. It'd be a sad ending, but Naruto himself has already foreshadowed his own death more than once. The prophecy never stated he would live after saving the world.

Extremely unlikely that Naruto dies, this is Shounen plus he still has to become Hokage.

In Naruto's words he won't die until he becomes Hokage.

Plus its hard to write a manga if the hero dies so once he dies the manga is over.

And Sasuke isn't going to kill him, and Sasuke isn't beating Hashirama either.

Sasuke + Madara can own Hashirama and Tobirama easily. Naruto and Sasuke passed the Hokage a long time ago. Naruto will die in the final chapters, the rest being an epilogue.

Why would I revolt? If its done well then it will be an emotional ending which is better than a happy ending which is forgotten quickly.

Who would make Sasuke Hokage, that would be ridiculous, the whole village hates him. What a ridiculous idea, Sasuke becoming Hokage LOLOLOL.

That wouldn't even make any sense at all with the story. Naruto will be Hokage in the end, he has said so a million times that he would be a Hokage that surpasses all the previous ones.

All the more reason he probably won't die in the end.
