about the end of the world:
yes i agree with what sasori345 said although that is about the end of the world.
about huge changes in world:
i believe that part of the earth is going to get ruined because of an asteroid clashing on it or a complete continent being sucked by water just how lemuria was sucked up.
edit:
also notice the climate changes and the global warming tragedy

Fifty years to sixty years as to why that's easy us we are the reason bee, s are going extinct our planet is on its way to becoming a desert. Also as our population grows and our food supply shrinks war over what's left will wipe out large portions of the population and the very resources we are fighting for if we don't change over to a green existence our planet will no longer be able to support us. Our problem is in our nature we don't adapt we control if it's to cold we make a way to be warm etc.

This is a rather naive and conceited viewpoint.

While humans do, indeed, have an impact on society - the demonization of human existence is a tired, old, card that simply doesn't hold up to scrutiny.

The world is not becoming a desert, for starters. There is absolutely zero scientific evidence to suggest that it is. Even in the areas where there is an expanding desert presence, it is part of a trend with a geologic history dating back to when we were flinging poop at each other.

Before there were humans, the earth was a giant tropical ball of humidity.

Before there were humans, the earth was a giant ball of ice.

To try and say that we are doing anything new to this planet based off of perceived climate change off of less than 20 years of empirical evidence (where the technology of gathering that evidence has changed five times in as many decades) is reckless, at best.

The goal is to make you feel sorry for being able to live a life of relative luxury (even at modest income levels) and to subject yourself to rationing and unsustainably high costs of living in order to be 'sustainable.' Stocks in the few companies that provide the stuff explode in value (and you are too busy buying what you're told has to be bought because you're killing the environment to invest in those stocks) and the resources that would have been consumed in this nation's clean facilities with environmental standards will be sold to China and India where they don't care if children's toys are lead flavored.

That is the motivation for the green movement amidst the government. The rest who support it are just well intentioned, yet ignorant, fools.

Now, if you want the actual "end of the world:"

The dollar is going to collapse in value before too much longer. My gut tells me around April (the coming one). But that's just my gut. Regardless, the housing market is already bubbling at an unprecedented rate and we're already set up for another bursting of the economy.

The next burst will pretty much collapse our economy.

The problem is that this will come at the height of a sweeping removal of progressive politicians from office in our country (it's already in motion - the progressives from the Republican party are being thrown out). That change is going to be blamed for the problem (despite the reality).

That is when the progressives will return with the solution - public ownership of the economy. After all - all of our efforts are for the betterment of society. "Why have currency, at all?" Thus the progressives will offer communism.

And a huge number among our population will stand in line for the promise of security.

There are those of us who will insist it is a bad idea - we will insist that we own our businesses and that we should choose how we wish to employ ourselves and have a say in what the cost of our services are.

Others of us will congregate into groups that do not wish to participate in such madness. We'll continue on in a sensible and real economy likely basing itself around U.S. minted coinage (since it is at least finite and can't be printed insanely) - though a few silver and gold holders will possibly finance some interesting development (since silver and gold in any form of bullion or stock is relatively rare in our economy).

Those regions will prosper, and the politicians will insist that it is just coalitions of greedy "1%" people living in those areas. Armies will be mounted and the areas crushed. Those who hold to the ideology will be looted and murdered. Those who do not will be forced to work "for the social good."

By 2020, we will be unrecognizable as the nation we are, today. Only the rural areas will 'escape' the punishment, having an underground economy not seen as worth the hassle (spare for where it involves the supply of harvests going to cities).

If I am unable to flee to another country - then it is most certain that I will be among those hunted and killed.

Other economies will encounter difficulties as the U.S. collapses - but China will be one of the few decimated to a degree similar to us. They will fragment into a civil war - though likely in rejection of communism.

Eventually, there will be investment back into the U.S. from foreign interests that require the energy supply the U.S. has - as well as the raw agricultural product (particularly livestock - which will be in high demand amongst those maturing economies).

Europe will end up tangling with an expanding islamic caliphate. It will be a mess - but one they can survive (they will probably resort to cleansing the muslims from Europe out of frustration, though).

Russia will be on the rise - and likely begin dominating over much of Eastern Europe. Unfortunately, the successes will only further entrench the nation-worship that is sweeping across Russia, right now. That means the Libertarianskoye movement in Russia will be up against some tough opposition - since people tend to follow those who make and deliver promises rather than those who prefer to make it a policy of not offering promises and assurances.

It's going to be a darker time for the world, in general - defaulting back to mostly authoritarian governments and many sectors embracing ethnic cleansing.

But, at this point, little can be done about it but to face it head-on with the intent to carry on through it.

God I hope so.

Side note: The guy above me is insane; he's right about the dollar's inevitable collapse, but he's still very insane.

is of interest to anyone reading this article. For that matter, most of the people commenting here would find merit within at least reading a few articles out of his blog, truly interesting material to say the least.
