My raw guess is that with Pekom's help, they might be able to get on friendly terms with Big Mom - for the moment, at least. There's also still the chance of Lola being her daughter.

That'd be killing two birds with one stone, since being on friendly terms with Big Mom would also grant some protection from Kaidou.

They might split up zoro seems like he's just reminding luffy of the circumstances like he does in every arc its usually zoro that keeps him focused on the important things like this but luffy always goes with what he feels is most important which is his nakama

My hunch is that all will go to the Cake Island, Sanji's story will unravel and the adventure will end with Big Mom Pirates joining the SH alliance and the wedding probably canceled (or his bride to be will join Sunny crew?)
Amongst all, Sanji will win BMs friendship with his cooking.

After this arc all hell will break loose and we will probably see a massive Mugiwara pirates fleet vs Kaido, all calamities and the rest of his crew.

I'm callin it right here and now. After arguing about whether to go or not for an extended period of time Sanji just randomly pops up (with a scar of some kind) the crew asks him what the hell was going on and he doesn't tell the story and we get like 200 chapters of built up suspense while bits and pieces of the story are unveiled

Sanji doesn't need to be saved though. Nothing is forcing him to go other than taking care of his own personal trouble

He said he'll come back
True..

But it's not that he NEEDS TO be rescued per say, but it's a safe bet to say that he's gonna need back up and some support from friends, during a time of rejecting a Yonkou's request to marry her daughter. And his Family of Assassin's request to marry that Yonkou's daughter.

I mean come on.. the situation speaks for itself. Sanji is not going to be able to just simply walk away freely from this without a fight. And if he's all alone the odds are surely against him.

This is where strong Nakama come in.. real friends.. they're not going to let Sanji go through this alone. It's not a "rescue". It's support / back up.

And Zoro of ALL people (after his speech in W7, with the whole Usopp ordeal.) Is not going to deny or say no to his captains orders on departing to a certain island and going to help their very own chef / friend / 5th member to join.. Zoro and Sanji have they're fights and rivalries, and disagreements and arguments or what not, but Neither of them are going to be disloyal to Luffy. It's just not gonna happen.
