[Discussion] Will the Strawhat split?

- Luffy wants to go to the cake island and question Sanji's decision
- Zoro thinks more about the crew in this current crisis with the Kaido situation not far off in sight alongside the purpose of their alliance with Law and the situation with Kinemon and the other samurais

So do you anyone will end up convincing the other? Or do you think that alliance will have to split somehow? This a situation i didn't think about but it could really end up splitting the group apart, so what do you think?

i think zoro and maybe frank will sort of keep kaido and its members at bay while luffy and probs nami and chopper get sanji back ...i might be wrong lol

since when does zoro's/the crew's input have the much significance in how things turn out? come now we've seen it many times, luffy was called selfish many times, he does things his way at the end. He only changed his original plan which was to bust through BMs ship and go to sanji because he knew he'd lose. So yeah, they're not splitting

It was obviously a temporal question. I never implied they won't meet again if it does happen

No not going to happen. Zorro was just showing the pressure they are in atm because he cares and has great confidence in Sanji managing on his own (Also Oda wants to show that to the readers that the crew is pressured by the yonkous even though most of the times they are careless meaning that they have matured) but if Luffy says that they will go and save Sanji they goddamn WILL save Sanji because Luffy is the captain of the group and knowing how loyal Zorro is, he will go with his captain's decision and stand with him. Never forget how many obstacles they have faced and not once did they abandon their captain or nakama because it is impossible. Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE for the Straw Hat crew! GOGO MUGIWARA!

Straw hats crew has and always will follow luffy whatever the matter, but the only person who can put some sense into luffy brain is none other than zorro. I'd say there is 50-50 chance of SH splitting for the upcoming arc untill everything is clear.

luffy, nami, chopper, brook move towards big mom while zorro, franky, robin, ussop stay at zou to clear the matter and saty with tra-guy.

If Luffy says they go zoro will. The main reason zoro had a problem with ussop is because he undermined Luffys authority and thought Luffy was being soft. This is a totally different scenario.

Sanji doesn't need to be saved though. Nothing is forcing him to go other than taking care of his own personal trouble

I would love it if Zoro, Robin nd the rest of the swordsmen split up from the crew to take care of some Kaido business whilst Luffy and the others reach out to Sanji.

I mean most top crews in the New World temporarily split up to do solo missions before returning to the main ship so it's within the ball park.

But that's probably not gonna happen lol
