[Question] Will the snow return?

I remember last december when I first joined snow was falling over the page for the christmas spirit and all that stuff but some people did complain about it slowing down the page

I am just curious if it will be set up again this year ?

Also while on the topic of snowing what does the "Falling icons on profile" thing do?
I imagine it got taken out for some reason but I am curious how it looked like before
