Issho mentioned that he wants to see the Shichibukai system eradicated. Do you think this will happen in the story (discounting the EoS scenario)?


If possible, please provide a brief explanation of why you think so. :)


MY INPUT:

Yes. The World Government will start a major offensive against all PIRATES at some point including the Shichibukai. They were meant to be a temporary increase in power until the Pacifista project is finished which they hope will be enough of a power boost to conquer the NW.

Shichibukai are a risk that they don't have to take at this point. They'll have to vanish like every PIRATE out there to demonstrate the power of the WG.

I think they will, but I disagree with your theory.
If the Shichibukai were temporary until the Pacifista project was finished that would mean the system would have been been fairly recent (the past 50 years or so).
I expect it to big news if it is abolished like across the world, this long standing force for hundreds of years is suddenly being taken down.
