Will the people of Konoha ever learn the truth? (and how)

the truth about Itachi's heroic sacrifice and Danzo's treachery? If so, how exactly could this happen? Am I wrong to think the outcome of the Sasuke-Itachi fight was well-deserved? Essentially Sasuke also got rid of a problem for both Naruto and Konoha.

Please let me know if I missed something and this has already been hinted at. It is just hard to believe that at this point only a small circle of people knows what really happened, and this is excluding Sakura and some of the teams closest to Team 7...

I know this is largely hypothetical, but I was wondering how this would/could be dealt with.

No. Some secrets need to be kept forever, that is one that should never be spoken of. How would you fill if USA Gov admitted to plotting 9/11? Would probably be a revolution and revolt in all areas of country.

i seriously doubt it, i mean there will need to be an explanation for sasuke's acts to the rest the villagers but it will remain a mystery. I'm sure a few people will know fully why sasuke will be forgiven.

I really doubt that they will ever know 1.) It was to be kept a secret from them b/c remember the coup d'é tat that was supposed to happen and Danzo(I hate it him) and Hiruzen and the Village Elders agreed that Itachi should kill the Uchiha Clan.(*Hiruzen really didn't want it to happen but it was the best decision) 2.) Itachi asked Naruto don't tell anyone or else the Name of the Uchiha would be still be tainted 3.) Itachi revealed the real truth to Sasuke in his Genjutsu when they released the Reanimation Jutsu and in it showed how Shisu(My man) wanted to protect Konoha and the Uchiha Name. Plus Sasuke would hopefully just not tell anybody but he might and if he does he would say it like this "Itachi...Itachi sacrificed everything and everyone just to protect the Village and to prevent a war.....you people should be grateful that an Uchiha saved your sorry asses from warfare and chaos....tsk.." Lol I kinda went overboard Dattebane! ;D
