Will the new anime only character be incorperated into the Boruto manga?

I don't recall these new characters being present during the chunin exams during the manga and having the anime running alongside the manga is going to get confusing with how they incorperate these characters if they are absent from the manga and don't contribute to any of the major plot devopments. I mean they could have Momoshiki just kill them all adding some spice to that arc but that would be sort of a waste of all that character development we just sat through.

Do you think they'll play a role in the next arc of the manga or remain anime-exclusive background characters? If they do add them into the manga how will they explain their absense from the chunnin exams?

I doubt they'll appear in the anime recap, but it's possible they'll be included in future arcs.

Its not confusing at all. The manga is ahead of the anime just like in the Naruto series. The anime is currently giving backstory for Naruto Gaiden, Boruto the Movie, and Boruto Next Generations. Im hoping that the anime and manga eventually catch up but give different sides to the same story. For instance they could give backstory on the otsutsuki clan with the anime while developing the main plot in the manga. It would solve the problem I hear of Kishi always having to leave some of the story out due to time restrictions.
