The Miami heat are on fire right now and beat Philly to get their 20th straight win.
One more win and that ties them up with the Houston Rockets record which stands 2nd on the all time list.(22 games)

Question:
Will this Red hot Miami team go on to Break or atleast tie the all time record held by the 1972 Lakers led by Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain and Gail Goodrich with their famous 33 victories?

This record of the Lakers is astonishing considering that same year, the defending champs Milwaukee bucks were winning alot of games,New York Knicks were doing great before Willis Reed was troubled by injuries and the rival team, the Boston Celtics were having a dominant run aswell.

Id have to look at the schedule. But honestly every team they play will bring their a game because they are the champs and because they want to break the win streak. I think Miami is more focused on getting into play-off form then they are the streak. Now that i think about it they won't break the record.

They easily have the ability; this year is the year Lebron has really proven he's the best player in the NBA. Now that he has his ring, he's able to play relaxed, which makes him somehow even better. (Which I didn't think was possible before.)

The key games are obviously the Bulls, the Spurs, and the Knicks. They win those three, they'll get the record.

Albeit, this streak isn't quite as impressive as the original, IMO. But still, it's nothing to sneeze at.
