Will the final arc have no tension or danger in the background?

I mean, now that I think about it, Sasuke wants to be the Hokage and protect what Itachi sacrificed himself for. Meaning that if there ever was to be a conflict, Sasuke wouldn't lay a hand on the civilians of Konoha. The only focus point would be between Naruto and Sasuke, and there would be no sense of 'danger' as the rest of Konoha won't be attacked. The only way I can see it in danger is if Orochimaru remains a villain (possibly preparing an army with the Sound Village) or if Madara is not sealed in this arc and remains till the final arc.

Does anyone else feel this way? Opinions?

I think the war arc is the last "real" arc and after that will be to tie up loose ends.

Story is far from over, we don't know where Kishi is going with Sasuke and Orochimaru so who knows, he may have a plan to make it even more suspenseful then this one.

And since its the last arc its the only arc where Naruto can actually die, so that right there creates suspense.

Honestly I think the last arc will first focus on everyone and how they feel, get a few little stories in about k11 maybe now that the war is over, maybe some ninja still hate the other lands and wont commit to peace, there cant be anyone else now as a villain and I mean new like no long lost and forgotten or been alseep for 1000 years crap.

Sasuke and naruto cant have a friendly fight either because we wouldnt see their full potential.
Im guessing a replay of madaras leaving or what would be kooler is like, a chuunin exams with k11 but fighting for the title of hokage. Theyd lose to naruto but theyd say this and want to test him personally.

We all wanted sasuke and naruto in the finals for the chuunin exams so why not now? Lol

I strongly believe that all this fighting will eventually turn Naruto and Sasuke against one another with everything on the line for the final battle.

Last arc is Hell Chapter. Naruto and Sasuke will go to Hell to rescue Sasuke's clan and Naruto's parents/clan.

There will be no more villains or arcs after this one.
All the villages are united and the largest threat to the world is being handled with.
Anything else would just be a repeat.

Naruto is still far from over , we still don't know how will the war will end or what might happen after , ending the war doesn't mean everything will be nice & dandy after that , what would be the point of continuing Naruto if you have nothing after the war . ?

I strongly believe we're gonna have a time skip after this .

sasuke assisted itachi.....itachi stopped edo tensei....kabuto would have fried sasuke without itachi

I can't say about the tension in the manga but there gonna be lot of tension around NB here.
Many bashing of Naruto and Sasuke
Many members getting banned
Many members getting warnings

A lot of tension on the mods XD
And members enjoying and spamming their fanboyism all over NB XD
A historic moment in NB XD


OT : ( a high possibility ) Orochimaru will be the one to inject Senju DNA into Sasuke ( unknowingly on Sasuke's part )
( a high possibility if Madara escapes the war ) Sasuke VS Madara, where Sasuke will surpass Madara and Madara got a different path towards his plans.
( a high possibility ) A remodeled Orochimaru (powerful) VS Naruto
Naruto VS Sasuke with a new problem in their path.

I guess this is enough tension for the manga to continue towards Naruto VS Sasuke. =D

Thing is though, can we even be 100% certain that fight will happen> There is absolutely no way to predict where Kishi is going with this stories finale.

There are like 1000 different combinations. My personal favourite is Orochimaru taking control of all 4 Hokage at the end of the war, devastating Madara and most of the Shinobi Alliance and then creating the final arc.
