Will the contract seal work on the Gedo Mazo?

I saw a thread moments ago asking that if the Contract seal work on the animal path, Now this is another Rinnegan summoning-the Gedo Mazo........the title explains everything U_U

I dont think that Gedo statue is an ordinary summoning and it is a rinnegan only summon so..

Don't know what to say... it should, but So far all the summons we have seen have free will, a mind so to say... The Gedo statue however, we only saw it with someone controlling it...
So even if the contract seal would work, i don't know what would happen to the statue... It is a statue after all, not a living being.
