I wouldn't be surprised. If they're going to have any chance of beating Jūbito without some kind of an asspull, they really are going to need a new power up. Not sure whether it will be the next chapter though, as it seemed to revolve more around Minato based on the ending of the last chapter.

Kishis pretty much got an easy power up for Naruto. Giving him Minatos share of Kurama chakra.
