Its the body lineage of the sage, sasuke getting it would ruin the "elder vs younger brother" cycle of hatred.

The most logical powerup for sasuke at this point would be the elder son's eyes

"elder vs younger", yin vs yang, uchiha and senju, first off the whole point of this manga is to put an end to the cycle of hatred. The elder brother's son's envy of the younger brother does not suit sasuke at all. When it comes to envy that hat belongs to Madara who possess the rinnengan the "elder brother's eyes."
But if the body was all it took for sage mode Orochimaru would have been perfected sage mode a long time ago because he already studied hashirama's cells in depth and still cant use sage mode.
