[Discussion] Will sasuke be able to compete against naruto's speed?

The REAL question you should be asking is "will naruto be able to compete with sasuke's EMS abilites". The fact that kishi has shown naruto's Ninetails form before sasukes new sharingan tells you that sasuke will probably gain new vision, and therefore will question if naruto can step up to the mark.However obviously naruto will win since he's the main character but im sure i can speak for all naruto fans when i say kishi is going to make the sasuke vs naruto battle one for the record books.

i concur. besides sasukes eyes could barely even keep up with the raikage, and we've seen that naruto is able to compete with the raikage in terms of speed, and naruto wasn't even on the offensive.

Of course he will, otherwise right now the Raikage would be conquering villages left and right. Speed is but one element in a battle between ninja, and it is rarely the deciding one (ex. Minato vs. Madara was the rarity). He was born as an heir to Sharingan, which gives him partial compensation already. Then their are tactics, reflexes, jutsu, etc. that all come into to play that comprise the battle. Speed will not completely and utterly decide their battle, if it did, Sasuke might as well pluck out his eyes now. I'm not saying, however, it won't be an issue to develops tactics for, but there's no need to freak out.

You guys are all making assumptions. Just because the whole of Naruto has been a build up towards Naruto vs Sasuke doesn't mean that Sasuke will be able to compete. No not a all, he's gonna go down like a sack of potatoes.
Sasuke was always the smarter fighter so if he can't keep up with Naruto but like his battle with the Raikage he CAN see him and he'll find a way to keep the battle going.

EMS does not grant speed, your eyes will *i think* only worker even better at seeing people's speed...
anyways, I think that Sasuke won't even will be able to keep up with Naruto. But sadly enough I also think that Kishi is going to make bullsh** and give Sasuke again new born powers... that are/will even be better than Naruto..

On topic i think with ems he can visually see how fast he moves but matching speed i dont know, well see.
