but if you go back to chapter 486 Naruto confirms that both of he and sasuke would die :

1-Naruto and Sasuke die...and the last movie in just Naruto's dreams inside the infinit Tsukoyomi..

2-They will indeed die but then gets revived with Rinnetensei ...

Well there's that where he says they'll both die and his other promise of him promising to take Sasuke back to the Leaf, I think we can assume he wants to keep his promise to Sakura then when he clashed with Sasuke that day but anything's possible the movie may well continue the fight and we may only get TNJ this whole time LOL

Naruto and Sasuke both live, as the movie is canon to the series and not a dream or genjutsu. And there's nobody alive with the Rinnegan to Rinne Tensei them.

What Naruto said back then was way before any of their larger powerups. Naruto controlling Kurama, Sasuke's EMS, Naruto's Rikudo Mode, Sasuke's Rinnegan. You can't compare them currently to how they were back then.

None of them are dying lol thats been made clear since the movie design releases UNLESS of course that happens during "The Last" but thats like a month and a bit away

This project is supposed to be more than one movie. Kishimoto is involved with it supposedly more so than Shippuden because they will keep going once Shippuden ends. So I would say that's pretty cannon. No one is dying. He's spent all of this time shaping Naruto's ideals. Naruto has been trying to avoid kiling so why would he kill someone he thinks of like a brother and a friend? If he didn't kill Nagato who he felt hatred toward why would he kill Sasuke?

I do believe Sasuke has every desire to kill Naruto because of the tailed beasts, but Naruto is only going to let Sasuke think he will kill him from a strategy standpoint. Naruto is totally prepared to die if he has to in order to stop Sasuke. Sasuke is not willing to die until he carries out his plan so that gives Naruto an edge.
