He tells Sarada that he wants to help her, by being her guard, and protecting her well. But his end goal is becoming a shinobi like Sarada's father.

Naruto and Sasuke's relationship is purely made out of that too, with the bonus of Sasuke doing missions that other people can't. He's the only one that was capable of defending the Hokage if the time called for it (when Naruto got transported to another dimension). I-E following that Uzumaki/Uchiha logic, them two being the most capable out of the generation right next to Mitsuki, then Boruto will be the only capable of defending Sarada when an enemy appears whom the rest of 'their' generation can't tackle.

They already show more care for each other than what most part 1 couples had early on lmfao. How I see it, it is sort of like a Parliamentary election which means the lineage will continue to take the Hokage seat. Sarada won't get at all. People love to dream than face reality.

I've thought about this already:

I. Kishimoto will make this kid extremely reasonable, exactly like Himawari in that sense. So despite his parents not always being around, he'll be okay
II. Neither Boruto or Sarada will be working (in her case) or in mission (in his case) for long periods of time where they can't spend time with their family.
III. By the time Sarada becomes Hokage her child will be old enough to be on his own, as in Genin age.

Notice how Konohamaru, unlike Jiraiya, doesn't explain how you are actually supposed to break the ball with linguistics. Instead he's just showing Boruto examples of him popping the balloon without actually showing him how it works. It's basically like teaching someone how to drive, but instead of actually showing them, you just drive around :lol
