Will Sai take Neji's place?

I've been thinking about it following an answer by caterpillar on one of my threads. I really think it would work, seeing that Neji is dead now and Sasuke has returned; Sai can take Neji's place on Gai's team.

What do you guys think?

He might be but he is not as strong as Neji and their abilities are too different. But he is a cool guy he would join team Gai as the fifth member of the team.

I dont know if this will happen or not, but it is by far my favorite theory I have heard yet about Sai. Their team would learn to work differently, but I think its possible. With Danzo, Yamato, Tsunade and maybe Kakshi out of the way, he will need someone to take him in. I think Gai would in a heart beat.
