what you say is true, but we all know kishi was not meant to write romance, and ss was kind of a last minute thing probs, but it does make sense in the end considering Sasuke probably had feeling the entire time for Sakura, but was suppressing them cause he thought it was a weakness. Gaiden is almost gone, so you might as well just enjoy it while it lasts. Eye smex, lololol
Not even going into the ship because I want to give them a break week for the enormous amounts of crap they got in this Gaiden, but I'm totally being honest. I don't see how people ship those together without being some kind of fanboy which makes you like everything about the character without holding your own opinion.
I mean doesn't it convey a simply terrible message to the majority audience of the series (Young-Men and Young-Women). From the Young men perspective it's saying it's okay to abuse women and from the Young-woman perspective it's saying it's okay to be abused.
While from a character standpoint it might be positive growth for Sasuke that he finally settled down and had a family, but from the perspective of Sakura it demonstrates zero growth for her character throughout the series or if anything negative growth. It also seems to convey her as character that lacks any self-worth, respect, and just being downright shallow.
Whether Sakura ended up with Naruto, another character, or no one, all of these seem like a better resolution, because at least the series would avoid conveying these negative morals and it would show some positive growth on Sakura's part. Yet I consistently see anyone who raises these points simply being called salty or simply mad their pairing didn't work out. But I feel like there needs to be some acknowledgement that the writing here is just terrible on so many levels and that's why many are disappointed.
