Will Original Naruto become like dragon ball?

I doubt it, if people just skip all the way to shippuden, they will be extremely confused about everything. Dragon ball didnt really have anything to do with dbz. So you could skip dragon ball but it wont really be a big dal, except not knowing the characters and other minor stuff,because i skipped dragon ball(didnt even know it existed to be honest) and i was accurate with all the plots of it but with naruto you need the first part to be able to understand the 2nd part. So in conclusion i DOUBT the 1st part will be forgotten,because you need it. You cant use one battery to use the remote you need both(horrible saying but w.e it works)
