and ironically there was action in this chapter, ichigo did stab and kill that earless fuker didnt he?

i simply said nothing happened and nothing did happen

As much as I would normally agree with your post, babaGaReeb is right.

Nothing happened that we couldn't have thought about except for the thing with Ukitake at the end.
They just "wasted" 10 sites with the Shinigamis being surprised that the Soul King is dead, that's it.

Really, as much as I love Bleach, this chapter was quite disappointing.

3/10 at best.

I actually liked the last Page . Ukitake thinking something new to prevent the Apocalypse . I agree the rest of the page hardly made any impact to the plot .

It seems Kubo just want to finish this manga and move on to his next Project .

Things did happen though, the Soul Society and Earth began to fall apart, everyone expressed their terror at the end of the world, if this were a movie and that scene came up would you say "Oh what a waste of 20 seconds it didn't add anything"? It does, it adds drama and suspense, You're making the mistake of looking at it in pieces rather than a whole. As a stand alone chapter it was minimal sure, but to the scope of the whole work it showed how even someone as ahead of the game as Uruhara can be taken off guard and can be scared, if Urahara is shown being scared it's to imply to the readers that serious trouble is near.

I really enjoyed this chapter. You guys will always find something to hate about everything. This chapter was good and the manga is finally starting to show why ukitake and shunsui were so hyped. When everyone else is panicking, those two are calm and ready and already deploying counter measures. It's great.

Ukitake will finally show why he was so hyped by yama. And whatever shunsui is doing right now will also further validate why those two are so badass.

I can't wait til next week.
