Oh. While I disagree I'm not one to talk. I have every dbz boxset except for season three. I have no Naruto boxsets (because they are expensive and I can watch them online in Japanese). I have some manga of Naruto but not much. But both of them combined, are you sure?

If you are like 15 and up and you watch Naruto. You are old enough to have seen DBZ as a young child and if you have watched it you are an auto-fan of DBZ. For every fan of Naruto at a capable age to where you have watched DBZ...they are a DBZ fan.

I'm very sure. One Piece popularity is only big because japan how much it sells over there. Naruto even though it's really popular outside japan it's nothing compared to dbz popularity. DBZ has been out longer so more people know it.

People only get into DBZ when they're small and then hang onto it forever. In my opinion, Naruto is an overall better anime.

Watching naruto first then watching DBZ is like.. Let me see if you like sports..

Watching Lebron james growing or Kobe or DWADE, then going back and watching the Jodan eras and his 6 rings. YOu will think, "lebron can do that, kobe did that, dwade does that" when in fact it was because of jordan that they became the type of bball player they are (lebron admitts this btw).

LEt me go back further..

Its like you growing up with Randy moss, T.O., and all the other elites. Then going BACK to see Jerry Rice play. You want think it was amazing, but it was because of players like him T.O. and randy are the way they are.

My point is, if you dont watch what started it to begin with you want know the value.

You watch Naruto first and saw amazing stuff, then watch dbz and didnt get it. Why? because naruto now has most of dbz and more and thats what made naruto. DBZ was the reason the action scenes, powers, transformations, bad guys were the way they are now in many episodes.

It has nothing to do with sentimental history, it has something to with being the first and one of the few pioneers to change the world of action cartoons! Thats something you will never ever in a million years understand because it has already passed and is at this very moment being used to please you the viewers!..

Its like being their to see Obama be the first black president, then being a person to go back and watch it years later. The experience will never be the same no matter what.

I get you mate and i think ive been saying that for a while how many more times do you want me to agree yes maybe your right no dbz no naruto but the simple fact you cant admit 90 percent of dbz is screaming and there is no story and back then it was good and it served its purpose but if you cant admit that for today its not up there then forget it. Whats sad is how you are appearing, the more you type the more is revealed about you. Lets just put it this way the connection or how you feel about dbz is how i feel about naruto and if you can agree on that great if not well keep at it bud

As i said. DBZ's story is shallow and boring. Protagonists over comes powers that were previously 19999999000000X stronger than anything EVER. He dies or his friends die. He comes back and gathers energy through butt clenches until KO... Just boring to me.

The white beard war sound so funny lol, and one piece i think im going to have to check that out. I still think id like naruto better and thats because its ninjas and i think one piece is pirates. But will be checking it out. Feel sorry for vegeta he will never be better than goku yet he is always trying haha.

I almost forgot to reply to the topic, yes i think naruto has the potential to surpass dbz and it may do so in time although all things considered dbz is like king arthurs sword, the one set in stone and it will take the right anime to release it from its spot.
