Tobi being killed off is another matter, but after that the only thing left will be the Naruto-Sasuke fight and then the end so it shouldn't make too much of a difference

Actually I don't think there will be much story left after the revelation of Tobi... It will be mostly flashbacks about things we need to know, and Epic fights between main characters... then Naruto (at least this part) ends...

Nope, because Madara's still hanging around, and now he's doubly immortal because they can't rely on someone ending his contract like Itachi tried to do. Besides, identity or not, Tobi's still managed to summon the Juubi (albeit in a weakened form) and they still have to beat him with or without a mask. Plus, Sasuke still has to find the one who knows everything, and Orochi's back so everything's more fun.
And Tsunade still has to die.
