He already has the ten tails inside of in the form of the 9 biju. I do suspect that at some point they will form a different version of the 10T because they will have new body (Naruto). The other Juubi Jins had the gedo mazo and the 9 biju, this is why the transformation is so drastic for them.

Gedo Mazo was the Original Juubi body & consume unlimited life force energy, also been said it is reincarnation of Holy Tree .. Have anyone ever thought that the reason Obito and Madara needed the Gedo to absorb the 9 beasts then seal the Gedo inside them is because they bodies could not maintain or support the 9 tailed beasts because Uchiha body is weak? This is my personal belief.
