Will naruto be stronger than madara or Hashirama with the New powerup?

He won't be stronger than anyone he is currently weaker than even if he gets the other half of the Kyuubi back.

If the question is Will Naruto be stronger than Hashirama and Madara by the end then I'd assume yes.

However most Hashirama and Madara fanboys will argue that no one will surpass these two when Kishi has set it up so inevitably

Naruto>Hashirama
Sasuke>Madara

As of now it depends on what type of power up Naruto gets if it's just more chakra then he'll be basically in the same position he's in now however if it's something that actually improves his all round skills then yeah I'd say he'd have a good chance of surpassing both Hashirama and Madara.

However I hope Minato doesn't give Naruto the other half of Kurama's chakra I hope his next power up comes from something the Bijuu's gave him before they where absorbed into the tentails.

Another point I want to make is even though it would be cool to see the Hokages help Naruto defeat Madara I also think it would be kind of lame as well since I actually want to see a 1 on 1 battle with the main protagonist vs the main antagonist.

This is pretty much exactly what I think.

I kind of hope his next power upgrade is something other then the other half of the 9 tails, mainly because I think it would be a lame upgrade.

I don't think Naruto will ever get the other half of Kurama's chakra because it was sealed, remember? and to get it back the death god will need to be summoned again just like Orochimaru did and that would mean somebody has to sacrifice their life!!!

Minato already said He has a big present for Naruto.Minato sealed in Himself haft of Kurama chakra and in turn He was sealed in the dead god belly.
