Oda stated that there will be no serious romance in One Piece because it doesn't fit. His answer was that everybody is in love with adventure. In his vision it is stupid for pirates to love eachother because where would you take your date to when you're stuck on a boat.

I think that clears all the speculation. Never got this obssesive pairing thing anyway to connect every manga charachter to another one. Especially those who say Zoro and Robin should be together creep me out.

That would so ruin both of their characters and even when I imagine the two of them together trying to have a conversation makes my enourmously uncomfortable.

Yup,Oda said it´s a shonen and he´s not willing to concetrate on the romantic aspects of the series,that really wouldn´t be One Piece then. Though he mentioned something about romances by the end of the series...but because One Piece (just like Bleach) is in its half,we have plenty of time. I´d say it will be Luffy - Nami, I personally like the Zoro - Robin thought but I don´t consider it as a real possibility.

I´m not saying Luffy is the one who will be in the midst of the romantic affairs - if there will be any mutual ones (Boa´s extreme crush rather considered as a source of amusement for the readers/watchers here) but I´m not sure what to expect in the future, literally anything could happen...it would be nice but it probably wouldn´t really fit in,though letting him die wouldn´t be a good choice,too easy ending.

I didn't mean that Luffy will die in the ending, what I meant is that Luffy will eventually die and he'll still be a bachelor. I don't see him in a marriage. It will be as stupid as putting a ring on Goku. They are both free spirits and yadda yadda..

In any case, most of the men in One Piece are single. Non-fodder men that is.

I was going to say something Similar. but I think Luffy will disappear with on the island. And the only people that will be able to visit him are Nami and Robi.

I actually see Franky winding up in Impel Down for some odd reason. Something to do with him and Dr. Vegapunk. But I just really see him getting arrested for some really odd reason.

Usopp will end up living with Giants or back on the island he got poofed to by Kuma. Pictures a half Giant with a Pinoccio nose. xd

Zoro somehow ends up with Tashigi
Nami ends up with Sanji
Usopp still marries Kaya
Chopper finds a nice zoan reindeer
Robin ends up with Franky

First what is franky? and why is he being paired?
He is a cyborg for heaven's sake whose front side comes off like a centaur...(and more likely it was heavily damage when he took puffing tom head on)

Also what was it that robin caught when recruiting franky is a mystery to me
