[Theory] Will Luffy fight Kaido, before or during the final war?

Okay so we know there will be a huge war at the end of the series and Whitebeard said it would happen after One Piece has been found.

Do we think that the war Kaido will spark is this war, or will there be a smaller, precusor war, before the final arc.

My personal feeling is that there are 3 options

- Luffy will develop a sort of rivalry with Kaido and fight him on numerous occasions, once atleast during this Pirate Alliance saga and then again during the final war. So that Kaido becomes a recurring villain.

- Luffy and co. defeat Kaido at the end of the pirate alliance saga and new, stronger enemies are revealed for the final war.

- The pirate alliance saga is the last saga and the first time Luffy and Kaido will fight is the final war.


I honestly can't see the strongest character being defeated before that final war AFTER Luffy finds One Piece and becomes the PK. Therefore 1 of those 3 scenarios is likely.

I figured The antagonist that Luffy would have a "rivalry" with would be Blackbeard, more so than Kaido.

He looks like FV material, but he's probably going to die in some war he creates with the SNs.

I think its going to be disappointing.

Honestly, I think the final post-OP war will be
Supernovas + Yonko + Revolutionaries vs WG (Gorosei, admirals, vice admirals, akainu, etc)

Luffy should take care of BB before he finds the one piece... or atleast, they both find it and end up fighting eachother to see who gets it.

by then, all the loose ends should be tied up... (yonko, dragon, blank century, etc)

I think since there are 3 major Yonko, somehow they get themselves into short skirmishes turning into full scale wars...
Novas helping them destroy each other by making alliances...

And Blackbeard being a slippery guy somehow survives the war and being Luffy's rival in pursuit of OP... Luffy defeating BB for PK title...

Later waging that aforementioned historic and gigantic war against WG with several allies...

Yall are hyping up Kaidio too much. There is now way he will be defeated by Luffy after the likes of either Akainu or Black Beard. If he gets defeated after either of these two then it won't be by luffy.

He has been hyped up as this sagas main villain for a while now and this is why he was introduced right after Jokers fall, and on top of it the relation of his with Joker and Luffy&Laws alliance motive, simply he is going to be the next prey that falls in the hands of SHs.
