It's obvious Naruto won't die young. He's the protagonist of the story and he's destined to become the greatest Hokage in history.

Konohamaru will not be the next Jinchuuriki. It makes little sense to seal the Kyuubi into someone so close in age to Naruto.

New Jinchuuriki's are chosen at a young age.
