Will kakashi ever become a Hokage?

When Danzo died,there weren't any Hokage candidates left.And Tsunade is not capable of being a hokage anymore.So my question is:
will kakashi ever become a hokage?(or even a candidate?)

It depends on whether Tsunade lives through the war. If she does, she can continue as kage until Naruto's old/mature enough.

If not, it'll likely pass to Kakashi until Naruto's ready.

This assumes that Naruto will survive, of course.

He should. Naruto just doesn't seem hokage material... He's not exactly "strategically smart".. he acts like a goofball anyway. I know he's the main character and all, but hokages from what I've seen are more serious, and mature... the only way I see Naruto being hokage is because Minato was hokage. Minato seemed young as a hokage, he didn't seem all that strategic smart, like when tobi captured naruto, minato was SLIGHTLY panicking.

That's beside the point, Kakashi is more hokage material than Naruto, so in all honestly Kakashi would be a KILLER hokage, for the win!

Well after the war Naruto has proved himself enough to be next in line, but Kakashi was supposed to become Hokage after Danzo's death. And he will be considered when Tsunade steps down/dies but will ultimately lose to Naruto and become one of his advisors.
