Will Kakashi Eventually Go Blind?

@anonimuss what are u talkin bout? Kakashi uses it every chance he gets.

On topic logically he should be going blind for the share fact once its awakened u slowly go blind as well as danzo but I haven't seen them complaining....

Maybe the transplant delays the process or the lesser chakra plays a role....

that doesn't prove that he felts its effect,that's just a possibility ... i believe the other theory more plausible that kakashi might read the insciption just like sasuke.

actually it would prrove that Kakashi had felt its effects cause he wouldn't have known any other way. He couldn't read the inscription in the Uchiha temple cause it's in a secret liar...and its called a secret hiding place for a reason, no one knows of its existance

It all depends on how extensively he uses his MS. As you've noticed he only uses the MS as a last resort. Because of this he's able to keep his graduating blindness at a bare minimum.

Using the normal Sharingan doesn't deteriorate his vision.



But eventually (if he continues to use MS) he will go blind in his left eye.
At which point he'll be left with no depth perception...

i think he will go blind but even if u go blind it dosnt take away ur techs jus ur site so he will still have one good eye and he fights with is bandana over his sharingan all the time so hell b fine jus have to learn how to aim his kumi using his other eye if u get what i mean

ok like when he uses kumi he has to target the eney with his vision and then suck them into the vortex right

but if he is blind he can use his sharingan eye to aim cuz he will be blind

soooo he will have to learn to use his other eye to line up the vortex

basically when u look at sumthin both eyes focus on it ( look at sumthin right now ) so even if he cant use his blinded kumi to see he can still use his other eye cuz it will never go blind and like i said he usually starts fighting with the sharingan covered anyway so hes use to it

in those pages I think he knows about detorioration because he also felt something about it.


he doesn't spam it because of his chakra levels. even if he were to go blind it'll take years. like itachi.

itachi's eye didn't bleed when he used tsukuyomi. but it bleed when using amaterasu.I'm not sure about susano'o
and kakashi's eye doesn't bleed when using MS. that means either the technique is a low level MS. (compared to amaterasu) and it doesn't put strain on the eye as much as amaterasu.
that's why it effects him less.

He used Amaterasu twice against Sasuke. He used it on Tsukuyomi on Sasuke when he went to Konoha, when Itachi and Sasuke fought and after he killed the Uchiha clan aswell. He probably also used it during the Uchiha massacre, can't see him kill them without it.
