Will Jiraiya the Gallant feature in Naruto again?

Just a query, as pretty much every character is getting a throwback in this war. I personally think there is zero chance of him being revived or what have you.

But, does anyone think we will learn anything more about his backstory in the form of flashbacks or the way Kakashi spoke to his father? Or even a character thinking about him in past times (i.e. Tsunade during/after her current battle with Madara). Basically, anything along those lines really.

These will likely happen during an important moment, such as a death of a major character or the end of an epic battle etc.

I firmly believe that it would be a crying shame if we were never to hear from this Legendary Sannin again...

BTW, if Jiraiya came back it would ruin the progress of the current storyline.

A tad harsh for a very likable character who has greatly influenced events thus far.

I would love to see Jiraiya again, but there's no reason to show him again. Right now he has no relevance to the plot.

maybe tailed beast bomb, but he needed the kyuubi chakra for it for sure. that's why he tried to loosen naruto's seal one time

i think when "that jutsu" will be re-mentioned(when naruto reveals it) naruto will have a flashback of how he learnt it(a quick one obviously) and jiraiya will be in their. OOOORRRRRRRR(this one is very unlikely) , when the JSA start winning the war, somehow, someway kabuto will actually manage to resurrect shisui and jiraiya the way he said was possible(collecting DNA froms pains weapons for jiraiya and danzos right sharingan for shisui) . and these two will basically be the jaw dropper for the JSA when they start believing they are gonna win but BAMN, two legendary ninjas pop out from the ground and its national rape day for them.

Like you say it's unlikely. But you can never absolutely rule something out until it has been categorically stated that there is no chace of it happening. Even then, it still might! haha!

I would love to see him in action again, even a flashback!
