[Discussion] Will Jinbe really join crew?

I'm a little skeptical, Oda makes this thing it too obvious, just like Pudding is really evil but it's not, I have some doubts that Jinbe will not join soon

The only way I could see it not happening is if Jinbe dies. So, for me is which one is more likely, Jinbe dying or Jinbe joining the crew...and I don't think he's dying.

It's 5050 situation so like a flip of a coin if he doesn't die by bigmom then yes new crew member but if he dies by bigmom by distracting bigmom and let the others leave safely as a sacrifice then no.

On topic: He already has joined, his statements now and in the past have indicated this.

More importantly i have the question what his role will be on the crew? The Helm? Because at the moment, nami does it and if shes busy someone else is assigned. She's already the navigator so i think Helmsman fits Jimbei well. [ He looked good steering the ship towards marineford to the war and afterwards when luffy had to send the 3D2Y message ]

Jinbe's joinage either as an ally to StrawHats like what's between Jinbe and Big-Mom or he's going to be the shortest joinage crew to StrawHats. Meaning, he'll die in Whole-Cake island, and when Luffy sees the nakama who joined him today dies before his eyes, Luffy's DF will awaken unconsciously... maybe.

Or he's a long journey nakama of StrawHats we'll see him at every chapter, every cover, every filler and every fuking movie.
