Will Itachi stay for good now?

This is unlikely but I get the feeling that Itachi will not go away for the rest of the series, he's here to stay. My reasons why:
-Itachi is a huge factor of the series, Sasuke wanted to kill him at first, then after Tobi told him the "truth", he wanted to avenge Itachi. Sasuke being a main character is also a factor, everything Sasuke is comes from Itachi.
-He has had the most appearances out of any Akatsuki members.
-Itachi and Kisame were the only Akatsuki members to appear in Part 1.
-Itachi has been around so long, he's made a lot of fanboys like me. It just wouldn't be right for him to go away for good.
-He was the only Edo to break out of Kabuto's control.
-Itachi and Sasuke haven't had a good relationship between the massacre and Itachi's death. So now they can finally be bros again
-Itachi is fighting one of the main antagonist right now, Kabuto obviously. Doesn't main characters usually fight main antagonist?
Okay, I'm an Itachi fanboy so that could be the reason for my theory but still, it'll be nice

i dont think so because itachi is still an edo tensei, so i think he will return to the pure world if kabuto releases the edo tensei, if itachi stay's i dont think the sasuke vs naruto fight will never happen and we can't have that


edit: tobi told naruto that it was bound to happen and i expect it will

I highly doubt a dead guy is going to remain. Itachi doesn't really have much more plot relevance beyond stopping edo tensei(which he's about to do) and telling Sasuke the truth. He'll most likely disappear after he stops edo tensei and has his little chat with Sasuke.

i dont think so because itachi is still an edo tensei, so i think he will return to the pure world if kabuto releases the edo tensei, if itachi stay's i dont think the sasuke vs naruto fight will never happen and we can't have that

I think Itachi will go on by himself and leave the fate of the world to Naruto. Plus, in the Narutoverse, there are talking, gigantic animals and Kisame looks like a shark so a zombie walking around isn't the weirdest thing

yeh i agree with that, + a big knife to the chest doesn't kill them
so who knows
