I sent an email to my cousin with some jayz songs in it from his new album so he could hear them...and the next day I got some phone call from this company/organization talking about legal issues! I hung up...and now I get a phone call at least once a day from a unknown number and I know it is them!!!! (Its killen me mentally and emotionally) ... the thing is that I didn't steal the music because jayz did a deal with samsung galaxy so I could download and have the album 3 days before it was officially released! I know I was being stupid and assumed I could do whatever once they gave me the music! I guess I didn't read the fine print before I sent some of the songs to my cousin? Should I pick up the phone? And are they going to lock me up for this?

I am 21 btw

Flee the country. They can't get you in Singapore.

A coincidence, a scam. If it were an actual legal threat, there wouldn't be just a phone call or letter from a random company. It would be hand delivered by someone from their company with official seals and government seals or the cops would just be on your door step. Pick up the phone next time and tell them that if they do not stop harassing you, you'll call the cops. Do not threaten them, do not do anything other than that. Just quick and to the point. If they hang up asap, it was indeed a scam.

You should reread that sea of fineprint.

But anywho, it is odd for a company/organization to be enforcing a law (filesharing, cause technically that's what you did). I'd have a gut feeling someone is just yanking your tail, but better safe than sorry anyway.

You're probably just going to get a warning from them if it is indeed them. I had a friend who downloaded paranormal activity from a torrent and then a week letter received a letter from Paramount Pictures telling him not to do it again or face charges

1. Go to a non-anime website, any one. We can't help you. Use your real identity for best results and you're personal info. It's ok, cops don't know how to use the internet.

2. If you are caught, pull out a gun and a grenade. The cops will get confused and shoot themselves.

3. If that doesn't work, juggle soap in the prison showers for an early release.

A phone call?.. unless it's a letter, ignore it.

Answer it being someone else.

Fraud and copyright gets you sooooo many years in prison.

Rape murder and robbery gets you less.

Great system ey.

I called yo azz, pick up the phone when people call okay. Rudeness.
OT: Flee the country, your new name is Bonquiqui and you moved from Brazil but came to Russia to visit some family.
But to be serious, call them and work this issue out.
