[Discussion] Will I get in trouble or arrested if I burned a Koran or Bible?

I live in the southern states and I want to buy a lot of religious books, take them to my home, and burn them. But I wouldn't do it in public of course, just wondering if this is illegal or not.

Well, American law doesn't favor any religion, but you'd probably get slammed by the faith groups from infringing on their free speech, or some other grounds; so I'd assume there would be charges.
