Honestly, I know kaguya is meant to be nothing more than a movie tie in for THE LAST, but it still could have been done without her presence. We could have simply had Madara do everything Kaguya did, get sealed up by Sasuke and NAruto, and then have Toneki be Hagoromo's dad and nothing more.

Her character is literally pointless.

It could have been done better indeed. But if she never had any connection with the manga. People would consider this movie non-canon. In the end we have to work with what we got. So that is what I am doing.

She was hyped up to be powerful and such not hyped up to be this well written character. Its your fault for believing way too early making posts about how she'll be a well written character as if it was already confirmed. You could think its possible but you acted like it was confirmed. That's why you should always wait and see instead of having high expectations because afterall this is Kishi's manga not yours so obviously he's going to do it his way not yours.

Matter of how to judge something as well written or not is more objective than liking or disliking a character. That's where things differ.

Yes, I understand. I was expecting Kaguya's fight/flashbacks/personality/backstory/moveset to be explored withing the span of about 40 chapters at most. Yet we get 10 chapters of B.Zetsu bossing Kaguya around like a dog before she got fodderized by the Pink fodder herself.
