it still wouldn't work b/c you are reacting plus moving the wrist like that would break a few bones and slow you down a lot so by the time you get the jutsu off the nagashi takes effect already

you grab him he starts using nagashi
you see him already start the jutsu and try to move your wrist hence probably breaking a few bones
he continues with nagashi while you are in pain and try to move
he does nagashi while you focus chakra for your jutsu (which requires about a second)


so you wouldn't be able to get it off on time

nagashi is not instant. if i need about a second to use pure chakra he would also need about a second plus some to elementally recompose his chakra. plus he has to send it from his entire body while mine is only focused in the arms and hands.

expel mine at about the same time he would have released his

and im not stuck in the ground i can move fluidly so i wouldn't struggle to do anything

my attack is slightly faster and he moved slightly before me so our attacks would happen at the same time. and im watching him the whole time monitoring his chakra.

uhm do you read the manga it is instant notice sasuke puts his sword out and uses nagashi right away plus you are reacting

and you are right baout the struggling thing but he only has to use it from his legs

petty insults are not needed to state an argument

i found the chapter its # 308
there is no way of knowing when sasuke prepared the nagashi, as no one can monitor chakra in the group that fought him. the only thing that can be concluded is that its undeniably a fast jutsu. i believe that without proper proof saying that its instant is an exaggeration. im not quoting the sword usage because he isn't channeling it when he attacks me, so that doesn't completely apply.

at this point we are both reacting so i dont see the point in that.
and he didn't clarify his usage, so i went with the description of the jutsu that is most well known.
