Anyone who has taken care of a wild animal and made it a pet recently? Did you have a hard time providing its needs during this pandemic? I'm planning to buy a savannah monitor from my friend's friend but I still have trust issues if I can provide for him this pandemic.

No one else can tell you because areas are impacted by Covid differently. You should try buying whatever tf those things eat for about a week or so straight, and if there's any issue getting it trhoughout that period there's your answer.

Im in favour of leaving wild animals alone, altogether.

So if thats still possible, dont buy a wild pet.

@minamoto Yep, the most known bacteria lizards commonly have is salmonella. So it's better to make sure that we follow strict guidelines when handling one. I've befriended my friend's friend to know more about the danger of keeping them as a pet. :)
