Wifi Help ~

So I'm having a weird ass problem with my wifi. It works fine on my laptop, xbox and the like. But each time I try to connect to it on my windows 8 pc it either says - The network security key isn't correct - even though my password is correct because I use the same one on my laptop and have it saved there. Or when I try to do it automatically using the button on the modem it says Windows can't get settings automatically. Enter Security Key instead.

I'd be so grateful if someone could help me out here.

I don't have a windows 8 Pc so I can't help much.

1. if you have an ethernet cable that can be hooked up to your pc and modem see if the internet connection is good.

2.But, if not try to restart your Pc and Modem it works out sometimes.

wrong password.it could be a problem with networking or It could be the problem with the WiFi drivers..
Can you connect with other networks? Set up wifi hotspot in your phone and try to connect
Download and install/update the drivers..sometimes os doesnt even recognize wifi card without installing driver I am assumin thats not the case.

Try to create a new SSID through your router's settings(usually something you enter in your browser ex192.168.0.1) and see if your pc will connect to that.
