The strongest form of haki is an ability unique to each individual. Like it's silly but none the less I feel like sharing. What if in one piece the same way that no two devil fruit powers can exist at the same time can two final manifestation of haki exist. Now not to say they can't be similar or serve the same function but they are unique to the user in the same way they have a preference for observation or armarment. Like vergo can't see the future but he can become some form of indestructible and kata can't do full body haki but he can see the future.

Like in gear 4 Luffy is super prone to absorbing impacts what if that is his highest form of haki force absorbtion or nullification. Just an idea but an idea no the less.

I wouldn't say unique I think it's more like a skill tree from a RPG game. You can go different routes and some people invest their talents in a bit of all sorts of haki and some are specialists who are exceptional at one form in particular.

So it's not really impossible to have double forms but you either need to have a lot of talent to specialize in more than one form or to reach a point where your haki is so unique that not many people have encountered something like that.

For a long time I've been thinking that the monster trio unlocked haki in Ennies Lobby at their final fights. Where Sanji used a bit of CoA to create the friction on his foot and to protect it from the heat to use DJ. And where Zoro used a bit of CoO to make an illusion take physical form to cut Kaku. And where Luffy had a bit of CoC to prevent him from falling and overpowering Lucci with willpower.

I thought that would've been a clever introduction into haki if the SH's used a basic form of it subconsciously like Enel did. But now that haki has been around for this long and that they never referenced it. I guess they're just weird techniques. I think that is a bit of a wasted opportunity because it doesn't really explain where Zoro and Sanji get their power from.

But like Zoro's Asura, it would be cool if there was something more to CoO later on where you can use haki to make illusions or mess with the observation of your opponent. And there has to be more to CoC than what we've seen so far.
