The ones I know are all elemental based. You can infuse lightning into your blade and use it as a conductor like Sasuke does with his chidori blade. You can also surround your sword with fire and swing it causing a wave of fire to be directed at your opponent. A water vortex can be formed around your sword increasing its destructive power. In general wind and lightning are used to sharpen blades, fire gives blades the ability to scorch and incinerate on contact, and water increases a blades overall destructive power. Earth is the least used element on blades but it can be used to reinforce the material properties of your blade giving it a better defense. Beyond this I'm unfamiliar with chakra infusal techniques.
Good, i feel you are ready to move on to the techniques.
I should add you are an amazing student, i truly enjoy reading your replies.
Ok now my training is a little different than some.

(Ken Rendan no Jutsu) - Sword Barrage Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 25
Description: With this technique, the user will make a sequence of slashes with their sword and finishes with a powerful final slash dealing liberal damage to their enemy.
Describe how to do it: The description of the jutsu is pretty straight forward. I would approach my opponent and get at least within swords length of them. Then I would slash them with my sword(in my case one-handed slashes) and finish with a powerful slash. The performance of this jutsu is kinda freeform and it's left up to the person using it to describe how it's performed. I could slash in any direction and at any body part. How many hand seals does it have: None Advantages: Since its vaguely defined you can put your interpretation on it. Also it doesn't require any chakra or complicated gestures to perform. Disadvantages: It can only be used in short range which I assume will be true for most kenjutsu techniques. Since it's low rank and their is nothing particular about this jutsu to distinguish it from normal sword swings, it can easily be defended against. Combos and possible uses: You can use any suitable chakra jutsu with this technique. One thing I would do is to use Doton: World Shaking to make my enemy lose his balance as I swing my sword at them. As discussed above you can also infuse elemental chakra into your blade as you slash. How to defend against it: You can defend with a sword if you have one. You can also form something sturdy in front of you from the earth to take the force of the swings. Amour techniques could also be used to defend. The best way to defend is to not let your target get in short range. Their are a number of ways to do this. Image of the technique: I couldn't find a picture of this jutsu but the image would be of someone slashing their sword multiple times.
Can kenjutsu be freeform like taijutsu? I'm curious since freeform has the advantage of not taking up your moves.
Good very well done, i know i have been inactive so i will make up for lost time.

(Ikari Nomikomu no Jutsu) - Fury Swallow Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 25
Description: The user punches the opponent a few times and finishes them with two final slashes with their blade or sword.
Describe how to do it: This one is also simple in form. You run up to your opponent and punch them a few times (2-3) before drawing your sword and slashing them two times to finish them. Ideally you want to punch in such a way that you can quickly grab your sword afterwards. How many hand seals does it have: None. Advantages: The advantage of this jutsu is in it's simplicity. All it requires are punches and sword swings. No complicated footwork, hand seals, or elemental jutsu. Disadvantages: You have to punch your opponent before you swing your sword. You opponent may block or evade by you by then. Also by just punching and then swinging this is easily defended against. Combos and possible uses: Again the world shaking combo is in play here. I can also attack from the ground with earth spikes while punching my opponent making them defend two spots at one. This also might be nice to pull out after a few taijutsu techniques. It would be unexpected. How to defend against it: If you have a sword you can use kenjutsu to protect yourself from the punches (sword wins over punch) and slashes. You can also use any number of elemental jutsu to stop your opponent from completing their attack. If you don't want to move or you are immobilized, you can harden your body to defend yourself. ( Enjin Ranbu ) - Circular Wild Dance
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 25
Description: The user spins with his tantō, hitting the target several times.
Describe how to do it: This says it is performed with a tantō, but I assume it can be performed with most swords. The user simple grabs their sword in one and and extends their arm out. Then they spin around in a circle slashing the opponent several times. How many hand seals does it have: None Advantages: Even though it is short range you will manage to keep some distance between you can the opponent since the sword is being extended horizontally. Disadvantages: If you miss with you spinning you could come out of the attack in a very vulnerable position. Also if your spinning it is going to be difficult to target very specific areas like you can with other sword attacks, and if your spinning you can't adjust your attack to what the opponent is doing. Combos and possible uses: How to defend against it: This the sword is spinning around it is going to be difficult to pinpoint its exact location. Therefore to defend you should use a broad object like a simple wall to absorb the impact of the sword. To defend with a sword I would swing in an uppercut motion. By doing this my sword should intercept theirs and bring the spinning motion to a halt. Image of the technique:

( Rakkasui ) - Falling Water
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 25
Description: The user will drop down upon the opponent from mid air pointing their sword downwards and drilling it down into the opponent.
Describe how to do it: The user will jump into the air above their opponent with sword in hand. Then they will point the sword downward and pointing towards the opponent. The user will then drill the sword into the opponent while falling from the air. If you already higher than the opponent then you can simply jump downwards. How many hand seals does it have: None. Advantages: If you already higher than your opponent or you happen to be falling towards them then this jutsu is advantageous to use. Beyond this I really don't see an advantage in using this other than you stab with more power than just slashing. Disadvantages: Being in the air leaves you open to wind jutsu and projectiles your opponent can use. Also if you miss with your stab then you are wide open. Personally I'm not a big fan of this one. Combos and possible uses: If I was to use this jutsu I would spit a projectile out of my mouth while in mud air at my opponent. This could be a wind sphere or a stream of water. This would hit or at least force them to defend themselves before I came down. How to defend against it: As I said above, simply fire an elemental blast at them before then can land from mid air. If you want to wait for them to land then you can harden your body or turn it into water. Image of the technique: No image from Naruto, but I imagine this is what the form of the tech would look like in mid-air.

(Bakuchi Tori Kuzu Oujou) – Gambling Bird Arrowroot Death
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user bolts in front of the enemy who they then strike with their sword handle before delivering several kicks that sends the enemy into the air. The user then bolts across to the far off location of the enemy who they then punch violently into an obstacle.
Describe how to do it: You first would hold you sword in one hand by the hilt and then swing it to bash them with the hilt. Chances are this won't be a full swing but just enough to hit them with the hilt. Then you follow this up with several kicks and then run off to a different side of them (back, front, one of the sides, depending on where you attacked from initially). From that location you punch them several times. How many hand seals does it have: None. Advantages: Everything in the attack follows one after the other allowing a continuous string of attacks. You can also break the attack at any point if you so choose to or are forced to. Disadvantages: Changes of completing this entire attack are slim. Your opponent will react before this can be completed. Also attacking with just the hilt of the sword is dangerous. Your opponent could grab or maybe even dislodge the sword since you don't typically attack with the hilt and your arm will be extended in a awkward position. Combos and possible uses: This would be good if your opponent is partially immobilized or their speed is severely hindered. As an outright attack I think it falls short of other jutsu. How to defend against it: Depending on where the hilt is swung you might be able to grab the arm of your opponent before they hit. From their several taijutsu techniques can be used to defend. You also have the same defense of being able to blow a projectile from your mouth or harden your body. Individual kicks and punches can be defended against with by using taijutsu (free form or techs). Image of the technique: Sad but no images are appearing for most of these kenjutsu techniques.
Okay. Sorry for my absence, just need to ask am i still training you? Some people dropped my training and honestly i'm not trawling my VM's to see who, so just a yes or no if you would dear student.
