Wich Flashback makes a good Self-Contained Short?

Which flashback chapter/s can operate the best as just a self contained, short story??

Kakashi Gaiden, on second thought. That is easily the most self contained story, so its the easiest to understand. Its not the best, but it works the best.

Ame Trio is a good shout but KABUTO and ITACHI. Great break-downs of War, identity and desperation.

Kabuto's story would make a fantastic short about espionage and war. An identity complex from it that even I can relate to.

Itachi gives the look-in into the Uchiha genocide, one of the most interesting bits of lore the show has. I'd prefer it if a better character would deliver it, but it's still good material.

Fun fact: On holiday once I found a Shonen Jump issue. I wasn't a manga reader so I read both Kushina/Minato's flashback and Sabo's flashback from One Piece out of context. I was hooked on both and although I don't follow OP, the sacrifice of Sabo has stuck with me.
