Although I'm not completely sure what you are referring to.
Usually the user who starts the flame war is not the user that is getting punished.
There is a thing called phsychology and no human is able to overlook and don`t mind others calling him names,so in response,he will flame him back.
I think that in that case flaming is accepted because it is his human instinct to flame back.
In that case i think that the mod or admin must simply interfere,and tell them to stop,and not infract.
I think i made myself clear,it is not that i have anything against the mods.
This thing you call human instinct, I threw it away a long time ago and bought myself a predator instinct. Flaming is never accepted, whether you the one flaming someone, or you are just responding to someone flaming you, by flaming him back.
To be able to resist that instinct and instead report the thread, thats a feat of strong will O_O
Why not infract? The rules are clear, and those who break them are being punished. Thats the way how it should be.
A mods behavior is never overlooked by the admins either, if he does a lot of flaming, he is in risk of losing his status.
The rules are clear,i know it,and i follow them.
Every user must be treated the same in here,it doesn`t matter to me if it is a Mod or a newcomer,i will treat him the way i always treat people.

If you think you have trashed out your human instincts than you are nothing but a being inside a Human body,you can never trash away your human instincts.
Human instinct can be seen at rapists,at one point of their act their whole body tells them to stop,70% of all rapes are solved because of that,because he didn`t finish and let his victim alive.

No, Willpower has nothing to do with pushing the report button. It is advised you push the report button when you see someone breaking the rules.
The Willpower I am talking about, is resisting your own human instincts and not flame back.
I have no solid argument against that, but you prolly couldn't prove me wrong either if I said the same thing about you. Even though I don't know what makes you even say that.
