Why Zetsu isn't involved in Obito's origin

Zetsu is the prime candidate to have been created by Madara and help nurture Obito in fufilling Madara's plans. The way that Obito and Zetsu talk to each other about the moons eye plan suggests that they've know each other for a long time. Also, they both have the first hokage's dna so it would seem that Madara would have a part to play with both of them. However, during Obito's debut as Tobi he tries to deceive Zetsu in thinking he is 'a good boy' and not a serious member of akatsuki. Therefore, it would seem that in fact Zetsu did not know the secret of Tobi and was created through other means.

Why would Obito want to deceive Zetsu if Zetsu already knew who he was? Zetsu and Obito were the only people there collecting Sasori's ring.

Yh basically kishi likes to do that so we don't find out stuff, like in his fight against konan when tobi was absorbing paper bombs he coloured his eye socket blank so we couldn't see his MS

Look at this we get a close up on the eye but it's blank?? Kishi just did that so we couldn't see his MS because now when we get a close up on him we see he's MS

And then Itachi said that Izanami was a Jutsu created to counter these Uchihas that spam Izanagi all the time. They could do that without Senju's DNA.

That was back in the days where they were constantly in battle with the senju. It's certainly possible that they had ample access to senju dna. But nothing's confirmed about either technique.

The most interesting part of that frame I find to be that Obito misses catching the ring...somehow...with a Sharingan.

I had been thinking about this scene. How would White Zetsu know he was a "good boy" if they hadn't previously known each other? I think Zetsu knows the real Madara, and knows Obito's origin. Black Zetsu may be concerned about Obito joining because he's a liability to the original plan since he knows too much.

I also have suspicion that the "original plan" was not the "Eye of the Moon" at all, but rather just for Madara to gain all the power of the So6P. The "Eye of the Moon" was cooked up to appease Obito's emotions about ending the circle of hatred and keep him working in line with Madara's plans while he's dead.

I don't think Obito was necessarily repaired using Zetsu, but I think Zetsu was created and Obito was repaired, using the giant Hashirama/Yamato plant under the Gedo Mazou.
