Few people say on here that Zabuza's Silent Killing isn't enough for High Jounin+ ninja, I don't think you guys understand the extend of his Silent Killing.
Zabuza was able to slightly slash Kakashi when Haku intercepted Kakashi:
Now, we can all agree that if Kakashi wasn't holding Haku, he would have avoided the slash, right? Well lets look in this situation here:
1. Zabuza's sword wasn't fully regenerated, if it was he would have cut at least 5-10 inches deeper in Kakashi so it would would be fatal.
2. Zabuza attacked from in front of Kakashi, if he attacked from behind Kakashi would have been a goner because attacking from behind gives way less reaction time than reacting to a attack in front of you:
This shows just how effective it is to attack an opponent from behind and attacking from behind is what Zabuza always does:
3. The average speed it seems for Jounin/Sannin/Kage/Akatsuki according to the stats in the data book is 4/5. Kakashi has a 4.5/5 for speed yet he still got cut. There's very few ninja who have a speed greater than 4.5/5, and the only people according to the data book that has a 5/5 for speed is Guy and Itachi.
4. Kakashi had a 3 tomoe Sharingan out when he got cut. Sharingan, especially with Kakashi's mastery of it, increases his reflexes greatly and helps him predict and see through one's moves. Even with his Sharingan, he still got cut.
With all of these factors, someone as fast as Kakashi still got cut. This proves Zabuza could take out other elite opponents with Silent Killing such as Darui, Hidan, Kitsuchi, Chiyo, Mifune, etc.
With Zabuza's ease of getting behind opponents, taking them out is not a difficult task to do because his sword has great range for attacking. His Kubikiribochi shouldn't be underrated because it states in the manga that the sword his half of his power:
This sword is what makes his Silent Killing so deadly. Zabuza has shown to even kill Special Jounin with just a tanto:
Give Zabuza his huge sword, a couple Water Clones and he is taking down High Jounin+ ninja.
Also, Zabuza was said to have the greatest Silent Killing in history, no one coming even close to him. This further implies just how dangerous and powerful his Silent Killing is.
Zabuza is an assassin, he attacks without his opponents even knowing what's going on. This gives him the potential to even take out Kage level ninja like Mei, Tsunade, 4th Kazekage, etc. Before you call me crazy, allow me to explain. Mei, Tsunade, and the 4th Kazekage don't have sensing abilities and it's debatable if Zabuza's speed is greater. Well for one Zabuza has a 4/5 for speed in the data book, which is greater than Tsunade's 3.5/5, so it's debatable for the others. If one of them is walking in a forest or something, which most battles in the series takes place, if Zabuza is hiding in the trees, they don't even know what's about to happen. The Kazekage's counter to Silent Killing is his Gold Dust, however, he would only know to use it if he knows who he is facing or what's even going on. His gold dust doesn't defend him on attack like Gaara's sand does.. Thus, Zabuza can potentially take him out with his Silent Killing because the 4th Kazekage definitely doesn't have the reactions that Kakashi has. Since Zabuza will be hidden in the trees, he doesn't need his mist because he's already hidden, thus since his mist won't be in place, the ninja I listed won't even see Zabuza coming or won't know they are about to be attacked because no mist is in place to signal them something is going to happen. This is only a possible scenario though, if Zabuza faced off with any of these ninja he'd lose, but if he is hidden in the trees and uses his best in history Silent Killing, which is why he is the greatest assassin, he has the potential to take them out.
In closure, someone such as Kakashi who has a 4.5/5 for speed (which is above average for even Kage Level ninja), the famous Sharingan, and already had experience with Zabuza still got cut with Zabuza's sword not even being fully regenerated proves that other High Jounin-Low Kage level ninja like Darui, Kitsuchi, Hidan, Chiyo, Mifune, etc. are likely to fall to Zabuza (If anyone would like to debate those ninja I listed, be my guest).
