Yup, it's a pretty flawless argument to be honest.

Half sized. He could pick up the 8 tails for sure. He threw a "mountain sized Chouji" really far in V2.

Well, how much does Choji weigh? It's possible. But the Bijuu could be more dense then a giant Choji

Still seems like a good matchup to me, plus Kimimaro had been pretty well established by the Sasuke Retrieval Arc so i'm guessing the Sound 4 had to be about 10-12 when Kimi defeated them. They might've not even had full curse mark.

When I first joined the forums, I felt the sound four, particularly their abilities, were underrated. There were people who said Kid Kakashi would stomp the sound four which was completely wrong.

However now I believe they are being immensely overrated. You have threads comparing them to high kage level shinobi and I just heard you say that as a team, they are on par with Killer Bee/Kisame which goes to prove how overrated they are.

Also the sound five wouldn't have gotten much stronger in Shippuden as they had already

That's a good scan but Orochimaru really doesn't know everything about his subjects as proven by Karin's chakra chains or the Jugo-powered Sage Susanoo. Even if their main abilities didn't get stronger, training in their weak areas, being taught new jutsu and maturity (fixing their arrogance and major character problems) would've alone made them enough. If something doesn't give Orochimaru his sharingan fetish then he doesn't care.
