I've heard people say they were good at a fighting game, and beat them by doing absolutely nothing but mash every button on the controller as fast as I could. Thats pretty much how fighting games work, spamming is the main technique.

iits only pointless if it dont work..but hey if the other player keeps gettin hit by one move..well shit keep doin it.
they do it in the nfl. if the other team cant stop a play, they use that play more times then usually becuz the other team hasn stopped it...dnt wanna get spammed...stopped gettin hit..

If i like a certain game I play harder in it. Im the same way with halo and madden. they are my fav games so I try my best in those games, compared to other games I can care less about. You guys dnt really care for generations that is why your ressponding like this. But im sure all of you have at least one game you are passionate about. I believe all gamers do.

Just because you lose to a spammer doesnt mean you suck, its happened to us all. There are several ways to defeat a spammer. And also remember that every spammer has a pattern of movements. I have two methods when fighting spammers 1. Im either heavy on offense and REALLY aggressive and flamboyant or 2. Im either heavy on defence, and extreamly patient, mellow, calm, and I use a more stategetic approch. And most of the time its a combanation of the two. If you want to beat a spammer take their confidence. Make them look like the little bitch they are. When you catch on to a spammer you have to punish him. Make him scared to even use that move again. Once you catch on to their pattern and take their confidence, victory is yours and I PROMISE they wont play you again unless they like losing. I LOVE playing spammers, Its a easy win.

Oh yeah, of course. Just remember that if you used a strategy or technique against a player over and over, that you didnt spam them, you simply zoned them out.
