Why you like sasuke over naruto?(read first)

i must say that i dont see the point of liking sasuke uchiha im not trolling but all he does is want to put everyone hes around in the pain, and im sure he has his reasons but he shouldve took his brothers wishes and went back to leaf instead he wants to destroy the most important village in the series the village that takes place more in naruto, im sorry but if he succeeds wich i dont thinik he does cause naruto will stop him but if he does then the naruto series minus well be over, and again this is my theory

kids always admire their bullies and always have the wish to be as them "because they are cool and mean" and it is why he makes fun of naruto's friend making personality
in any aspect morally naruto's way is better and much more valuable , and killing your friends without giving a shit only looks appealing "cool" to some people and does people lack self respect

I agree partially. I like Naruto more than Sasuke but I am a fan of both. Yeah Sasuke's a douche now but what really confuses me is that people hate him for being bad guy yet other villains don't get any hate when they do worse things. Either this is because we unknowingly don't hate Sasuke and expect better from him or are just being unfair. I like that you did use the word brainwashed. I can't put the whole blame on Sasuke, with an event as traumatizing as the massacre its a miracle he didn't become psychotic earlier. With that being said what he's doing is still stupid but so is a lot of the hate he gets.

Okay, this is all me, and I don't want to start an argument or have other people get the wrong idea:

I think Sasuke is strong. He is powerful, smart, has a wide variety of jutsus, and can stand on his own against alot of shinobi--but this is not why I disslike him. I'd stand Naruto above Sasuke any day (the entire picture, definately not just power) mainly because of Naruto's character, morals, goals, opinions, means, etc. On top of that, one of the things I like the most about Naruto in a fight is that he's clever.

What Sasuke does, as done, plans to do, etc just puts me at the point where I wouldn't even sneeze in his direction. Not to mention the means as to how he got most of his more powerful jutsus. Don't get me wrong, Sasuke has done a number of things himself. He alterd the chidori to form a blade, ran it around his body, throughout his body, learned summons, awakened the first three stages of the Sharingan, and created a vast array of fire and lightning jutsus.

Naruto, however, got 95% of everything he has the hard way. True, the Fox was sealed in him, but until he claimed the Kyuubi's chakra for himself, it was really more of a hinderance than a blessing. Learning the Rasengan in two weeks when it took Minato and Jyraiya two years. He learned Sage Mode in a few weeks and perfected it when it took Jyraiya most of his youth to learn and it was incomplete. Defeating the Kyuubi (yes, he had help, I know) and claiming its chakra.

Konohamaru is the same age as Naruto was when he learned the Rasengan. And we have no idea how long it took him to learn it.

Sasuke looks like a gay pirate. Are you serious? Naruto comes in with a fiery coat and a giant scroll and you're telling me that Sasuke's big purple bow is cooler?

Naruto doesn't teach you how to make friends. Naruto's story is meant to show that even in the face of adversity, you can rise up and make yourself into something respected; he is the direct antithesis of everything Uchiha. Every time the Uchiha face "haters", they decide to kill them. But Naruto does his thing and proves that he's awesome.

The Uchiha are sissies gifted with more power and hatred than they know what to do with (excluding Itachi, Obito, and Shisui).

You are obviously a typical uchiha hater. Naruto wasn't even on sasukes level till he learned sage mode. Naruto beat one kage, the other was defeated with his own power. And if you are referring to pain as the villian naruto defeated, then it should be noted that had pain wished it naruto would be dead. That being said, I also acknowledge narutos achievements. I'll respect them when he stops using the foxes power and utilizes his own with sage mode. And as for sasuke doing everything for himself. Well yes I totally agree with you. Every since tobi told him the truth about Itachi that's all hes talked about. How he wants revenge because his mother was killed before she could buy him that toy he saw at toys 'r' us. And how he was pissed cause his father got killed before he told him where he stashed all the families money. Sasuke had a hot date that night you know.

I like naruto better then sauske, but I think sasuke gets a bad reputation because of the uchiha fan boys on this site.

Every battle that sasuke has been in since the start of this series has been entertaining to me. While naruto wins sometimes with luck or being able to get a change of heart from his opponent, sauske always wins because he manages to out smart his opponent and make execellent use of his techniques like the lightening techniques in the deidera fight. Even when his opponent deems his techiques weak he still manages to use it and win (for example using Tsukuyomi for the win against danzo).

Everyone like to point out that none of the techiques that he has are his own. So what? It is the same way with naruto. But at the same time every technique that he learned he improved on it, like expanding the chidori and using many types of lightning release, and developing the Amaterasu into blaze release, and becoming the best amaterasu user bar none. He even combined amaterasu with sasunno.

So in my opinion sasuke is a great character, and I may actually want sauske to win a little bit, becuase how many times can naruto still want to save someone who doesnt care about him, and has tried to kill him 3+ times?

I was referencing his defeat of the Raikage and the Tsuchikage, both previous.

You diminish Naruto for using the fox's power, but Sasuke got his Mangekyou and Eternal Mangekyou from Itachi.

And Pain did want Naruto dead, but Naruto + nine tailed Kyuubi was a bit much for him.

And there is no proof that Sasuke was better than Naruto when they first met. They didn't even fight, and Naruto was completely blindsided when he saw him.

AND I'm not an Uchiha hater. I'm just sick of the fanboys acting like Naruto is some crappy shinobi who can't do anything. All I'm trying to do is point out that Sasuke is not perfect and Naruto is pretty freaking epic.

And I don't really like Sasuke.

This is funny. I dont think Naruto is a pathetic shinobi but I can se how he fails in conparison to Sasuke. I dont really like either of them. Sasuke is a true old school shinobi with too much hate, and Naruto is a dumb @$$ who thinks he can do it all, and has to keep getting saved when he fails. Like Sakura, only he isn´t so useless. I don't like Sasuke over Naruto, at all. In fact, I would like them equally if it weren't for Naruto's personality. I'm not here to hate on Sasuke, though; I'm a freaking fangirl, in my own right. I found it odd the way the original poster flat out asked why people liked Sasuke more than Naruto, knowing it'd attract all sorts of people, but... Whatever. Anyway, aside from his being an elite when the series started in comparison to Naruto, I've never considered Sasuke better than Naruto. Sasuke may have done better at things in the beginning, but you have to remember a load of skill and potential runs in their very blood, so to speak. And yes — I'm referring to any ancestors from generations ago. I have to definitely admit Sasuke is smarter, though, but Naruto has more heart. One of gold, at that. But one of the biggest reasons I like Sasuke? Aside from the fact that he is cool, does have skill, and his face is precious?

HE'S FREAKING HUMAN. His RESPONSES are human. His EMOTIONS are human. The way he is now is all in human nature and he's so freaking realistic. Not that others aren't, but... People always complain about what Sasuke is doing. I agree he should have gone back to the Leaf when he found out about Itachi and stuff, because Itachi wanted that, but really? His anger and sorrow in response to the Uchiha Massacre was a human response, as well as even his vengence. The same can be said about his hatred towards the Hidden Leaf now that he knows the truth. Yes, it'd have been considered better morally if he'd returned to the Leaf after killing Itachi, but there his hatred would have swelled and eventually burst, anyway. And if he wanted to take revenge and kill someone? He'd be in the perfect place to do it. At this point Sasuke is so corrupted he's the most human character in the show. His sanity is questioned these days. How many other characters have gone crazy? Because we realistic human beings go crazy sometimes. Kuka-freaking-pow-pow.
