Well, if Yata was truly imvincible, then Itachi would solo everyone, including all of Akatsuki.

So either he is dumb and didn't use it or it wasn't invincible.

Itachi doesn't have that much chakra and stamina to beat all Akatsuki, lel, so nope.
If Itachi killed one member of the Akatsuki, then the others would propably kill him before moving to the next member.
